YouTube: Shorts, titles, thumbnails and playlists

Title rules, visibility, Publish as a Short, custom thumbnail and playlist.

Set the title (blank uses the first line of your caption, max 100 characters, no < or >) and the visibility: public, unlisted or private.

• Turn on Publish as a Short to add #Shorts. YouTube makes it a Short only if it is vertical and 3 minutes or less.
• Add a custom thumbnail and choose a playlist.
• If YouTube refuses the thumbnail or playlist (for example on an unverified channel), the video still publishes and the result says so.

Logins stay connected without the 7-day limit that applied while the Google app was in testing.
