- Open Users and press Add user (or New → Invite a team member).
- Step 1 of 2 — Details: the person's email, an optional name, and a temporary password (press the generate button for a strong one).
- Step 2 of 2 — Access: start from a role, then tick or untick individual permissions. A role you cannot fully grant is disabled with the note Includes permissions you can't grant.
- Press the add button. The User added screen shows the email and temporary password with Copy buttons and Copy all as a message.
- Send those details through a secure channel. Postalu does not email the password.
The new person signs in with the temporary password, is made to choose their own, and then sets up two-factor sign-in. Their email is treated as verified.
