- On the Dashboard press + and choose TikTok.
- Log in to TikTok and approve: basic info, profile, and permission to upload and publish videos.
- You return to the Dashboard. The row shows your @username and the TikTok Account label. The login renews itself, so it shows Active (auto-refresh).
Until TikTok approves Postalu's Direct Post audit, TikTok does not let apps post publicly. If it refuses your chosen visibility, Postalu retries the post as Only me and tells you. If your TikTok account is public, even that is refused and the post fails with TikTok only allows posts from apps that haven't passed its audit…: set the account to Private, or use Send to my TikTok inbox as a draft. See TikTok errors.
TikTok has its own required settings (who can view, interactions, disclosure and a consent tick). They are explained in TikTok settings. TikTok does not let apps read post numbers or post comments, so Analytics has no TikTok numbers and a first comment must be added in the TikTok app.
