When YouTube or TikTok tells Postalu a daily limit was hit, Postalu pauses that platform so you do not waste attempts. You see:
- A red banner on the Dashboard: YouTube: This YouTube channel reached its daily upload limit. Posting to it is turned off for about N hours, then it reopens by itself.
- In Create post the chip is greyed out with <Platform> is paused: … Available again <time>., and a red box says <Platform> is paused.
- Publishing now with it ticked is refused: <Platform> is paused: … It reopens in about N hours. Remove it from this post or try later.
| Limit | Reopens |
|---|---|
| YouTube daily API quota | Midnight Pacific time |
| YouTube daily upload limit | 24 hours after the failure |
| TikTok daily posting limit | 24 hours after the failure |
1. What you can do
- Schedule the post for after the reopening time: scheduling a time later than the pause is allowed.
- Press Try anyway on the banner (people who can publish). It forgets the pause and lets posts through; if the platform still refuses, it pauses again.
- The pause also lifts when a newer post to that platform succeeds.
