- Open the post from History (or the view post link in the Dashboard's issues panel).
- Read the error on the failed platform's card. Fix the cause if it needs fixing: reconnect, add X credit, shorten text, and so on (see A post failed: what the message means).
- Press Retry publishing on that card, or Retry all channels at the top to retry every platform that is not published yet.
- The media is still stored, so nothing is uploaded again. A platform that already has the post is never posted to twice.
- A card for a platform that is still pending shows Publish now, and Cancel to stop waiting.
- Cancel publishing (top) marks every pending platform as failed with Publishing cancelled by user, so you can retry it properly later.
- Retry comment posts only the first comment on channels that published but are missing it.
1. When retry is not offered
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| This post is waiting for review. | It is in the approval queue. Approve it from Approvals. |
| This post is a draft — publish it from Drafts. | Use the Drafts tab on the Dashboard. |
| This post is scheduled — use Publish now on the Scheduled page. | Scheduled posts are published from the Scheduled page. |
| You don't have permission to do that. | You lack publish permission for one of the platforms, such as LinkedIn. |
If the same error keeps coming back, the reason is usually on the platform's side (a daily limit, a revoked login). The article for that message says how long to wait.
