What each status on a post, on a channel, and in the workflow means.

1. The status of a whole post

A post has one status worked out from all its deliveries:

PendingCreated and nothing has started.
PublishingAt least one platform is still working.
CompletedEvery platform has the post.
PartialSome platforms have it and some failed. Retry the failed ones.
FailedEvery platform failed.

2. The status of one delivery

StatusMeaning
pendingWaiting its turn or being processed by the platform.
successPublished. The card has a link, and numbers appear later.
errorIt failed. The card says why in plain words and offers Retry publishing.

3. The workflow label

A pill next to the status shows where a post is in the team workflow:

LabelMeaning

in reviewSent for approval. See Review posts.
scheduledWaiting for its publish time.
(none)A normal post that was published, or is being published, or failed.
