- Save the post as a draft, or open it on the Dashboard's Drafts tab.
- Press Send to client. Choose Publish right away or Schedule for a set time, then press Create link.
- Copy the link and send it to your client yourself, by email or chat. Postalu does not email your clients.
- The client opens the link. They see the post, its first comment and when it goes out, and press Approve or Request changes.
- On Approve, the post is published or scheduled exactly as you set it. On Request changes, the client's note comes back on the draft as Changes requested: and the post returns to your drafts.
While the client has not answered, the post waits on the Approvals page with a Waiting for client tag. Press Revoke link there to turn the link off; the post stays in review for your own team to decide.
1. What the client can and cannot do
- They can approve, or send the post back with a note of up to 500 characters.
- They cannot edit the caption or the media, and they cannot see anything else in your workspace.
- The link needs no account and works for one decision only. It expires after 14 days.
- Making a new link for the same post turns the old one off.
2. If the link does not work
- This link is no longer active. It was already used, turned off, replaced by a newer link, expired, or a teammate already decided the post. Make a new one from the draft.
- The planned time has already passed. You chose a set time that went by before the client approved. Send a new link with a later time.
- A post that is approved counts toward your plan's post limit the same way as any other approved post.
Only a hash of the link is stored, so Postalu cannot show you the link again after you close the window. If you lose it, make a new one. The page is hidden from search engines.
