Where it is switched on, the Sent tab lists what is live on your connected channels, read from each platform, newest first. A post sent to five channels is five cards, one for each. Drafts, scheduled posts and failures are not here; they have their own tabs.
1. What a card shows
- The account and its platform icon, the text (with see more), and a picture. A video shows its thumbnail with a play icon; tapping it opens the post on the platform, because videos are never played inside Postalu.
- Reactions, Comments, Eng. Rate, Views and Shares, plus Reach and Saves when the platform reports them. The i beside each name explains it. Eng. Rate is reactions, comments and shares divided by views (or reach).
- Refreshed X ago shows when the numbers were last read.
- The footer says You created this X ago for a post made in Postalu, or Published via <platform> for one made elsewhere. Details opens the post, and Go to post opens it on the platform.
2. How fresh it is
Opening Sent shows what Postalu already holds, instantly. If that is more than 15 minutes old it reads each account's newest posts again. Refresh does it now, and Load older posts goes further back. Numbers are refreshed about every 24 hours. X is read at most every few hours because X charges for each read.
Insights and Analytics also count these posts, so numbers include posts you made outside Postalu. A choice at the top of the page lets you look at only the posts made in Postalu. Channel totals on Analytics show each channel's views and interactions over 7, 30 and 90 days and since tracking began; they need two daily snapshots, so a new channel shows a dash for a day or two.
3. Reading older posts
Each night Postalu reads a little further back for every channel (except X), up to 12 months and 500 posts. To do it now, open the ⋮ menu on a channel on the Dashboard and choose Backfill history. Run it again to go further back. It needs permission to manage that channel and can be used a few times an hour. On X it is manual only and reads at most 100 posts each time, because X charges for every read.
4. Limits
- LinkedIn personal profiles show only posts made in Postalu, because LinkedIn does not let apps list a member's posts. Company pages work fully.
- TikTok shows public videos only and needs you to reconnect once to allow reading them.
- If one account cannot be read (for example its connection expired), a notice names it and the others still show. Reconnect it from the Dashboard.
