LinkedIn appears as two choices when you connect: LinkedIn (Personal) and LinkedIn (Company). Connect either or both.
1. Personal profile
- On the Dashboard press + and choose LinkedIn (Personal).
- Log in to LinkedIn and approve: your name and profile, and permission to post on your behalf.
- The channel appears as a LinkedIn Profile.
2. Company Page
- Choose LinkedIn (Company) and log in with an account that is an administrator of the Page.
- Approve the permissions to manage and post to the organization's Page and to read its posts' numbers.
- If you administer several Pages, Postalu shows a choice screen: pick the Page. Connect again to add another.
- The channel appears as a LinkedIn Page.
If the account administers no Company Page, the connection fails with Failed to connect linkedin_company. Please try again. Use an account that is a Page administrator.
Publishing is a separate permission for each: Publish to LinkedIn (Personal) and Publish to LinkedIn (Company Page). Both also need the general Publish to social media permission. See Roles and permissions and LinkedIn settings.
